Mobility Week 2011 Ride your bike!
Today, Serres celebrate the main activities for the European Mobility Week 2011. During all this week, from 16 untill 22 of September, people of Serres did a lot of activities to concern about the importance of mobility in cities. They understood that it is important promote clean transport like bicycles and public transport to stop polution and make a cleaner city.
The main activities today took place at Eleftherias Platia in Serres and the main street, Merarxias, which was closed during a couple of hours to traffic and children from almost all Schools in serres took the placeto reivindicate more spaces for citizens and bikes an less for cars.
