Youth exchange in Germany from 6-13 of August.

The topic of this year’s multilateral exchange is “Youth and Chances”.
It takes place in the Center and Residence of Education and Leisure Time Wolmirstedt (Germany) from August 6th – August 13th 2014.
It deals with our future, our perspectives, our wishes, the global thinking and the active citizenship.
The project addresses young adults at the age of 16 to 25 years old ,from eight different countries within Europe.
Five 5 participants from each country will be attending in addition to one leader.
On the one hand the activities are a Future Workshop, a media workshop and a presentation of our results.
On the other hand the important highlights of the exchange are to meet young people of different countries, to overcome cultural bias, to organize spontaneous events like karaoke and an intercultural evening and last but not least to visit Germany.
The global aim of the Youth Exchange is to form a European awareness, to live an active European Citizenship and modern democracy and to transfer these experiences in everyday life. All this is only realistic in cooperation with personally and motivated mobility for learning. Mobility helps to promote the feeling of belonging to Europe, the development of European awareness, and the emergence of European citizenship.
We work with different methods in the Youth Exchange supporting the intercultural, non formal and informal learning.
So we break fears of contact, language barriers and we build a successful learning atmosphere.
The Future Workshop, Media Workshop and presentation contribute to increasing the media competences, to brighten the view of the own chances.
The Youth Exchange gives the possibility to make experience in moderation with a big auditorium.
The participants expand their soft skills, like social competences and the self-confidence in result and we intend to provide them a long-term empowerment for their lives along the way.
