EVS project “Act 2 Act” in Figueira da Foz, PORTUGAL

We are looking for 3 people for EVS/ESC project,
18-30 years old, from Greece,
for 180 days,
to Figueira da Foz , Portugal

European Solidarity Corps , έχει την δυνατότητα να επιλέξει ένα άτομο από 18-30 χρονών
για ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα Αλληλεγγύης (ESC) στην Figueira da Foz, PORTUGAL.
Στείλε το βιογραφικό σου στα αγγλικά το αργότερο μέχρι 20 Αυγούστου 2019.
Με το τέλος του προγράμματος θα λάβεις επίσημο πιστοποιητικό με αναγνωρισμένες
δεξιότητες YOUTHPASS.

Διάρκεια εθελοντικού προγράμματος: 180 ημερες .
Εναρξη : Αύγουστος ή Σεπτέμβριος.
Ενημερωτικό πακέτο για τα προγράμματα αυτά δίνονται στους υποψηφίους που θα
δηλώσουν το ενδιαφέρον τους ΑΜΕΣΑ.

Το πρόγραμμα καλύπτει πλήρως (100%) τα έξοδα διαμονής και διατροφής, υποστήριξης
του/της συμμετέχοντα/ουσας, συντονισμού, εσωτερικών μετακινήσεων, δραστηριοτήτων,
και αποζημιώνει 360 ευρώ από τα έξοδα του ταξιδιού με επιστροφή.
Επιπλέον, οι εθελοντές έχουν πλήρη ιατροφαρμακευτική περίθαλψη.
Ο κάθε συμμετέχων/συμμετέχουσα λαμβάνει έξτρα και ένα μηνιαίο επίδομα

 

WELCOME TO FIGUEIRA DA FOZ A NICE COASTAL TOWN

Bonae Spei the hosting organisation welcomes you to Figueira da Foz, a city with about 62,000 inhabitants laying at the Atlantic Ocean.
Figueira is two hours driving from Lisbon and 90 minutes from Porto. In summer it is a crowded place with many tourists. During winter it is very calm and peaceful town. In winter the average temperature is about 14°C and in summer 26°C.

Bonae Spei is a YOUTH association aiming to promote active citizenship.
Specialized in organizing events WITH AND FOR youngsters living in Figueira da Foz and surroundings. We try to involve the local youth in voluntary work, non-formal education and active citizenship.

Bonae Spei does this by engaging yougsters, creating and organizing events. We promote Erasmus+YiA and European Solidarity Corps Projects.
Bonae Spei is Eurodesk Multipliers.

 

YOUR OBJECTIVE -WHAT WILL YOU DO?

One of main objectives as a volunteer for Bonae Spei is to give organizational support, help with organizing events and create them yourself!
It is also part of your job to encourage youngsters to join an Erasmus+ YiA project like an exchange.
Most youngsters are very interested in your experiences as a volunteer. You will use this experience as a way to tell people about all the possibilities of Erasmus+ YiA and activate them to be a part of it!

 

FACILITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS HOUSING, TRANSPORT AND MONEY

You will live in an apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, living room and two sleeping rooms. You will stay here alone or with other volunteers. The apartment is very close to the association and therefore also close to the city centre and the beach. There are some small supermarkets on walking distance; the bigger ones are further away. You will get some money to buy food and besides that some pocket money. Your flight and apartment (including water, gas and electricity) will be paid by the project.

 

YOUR LEARNING PATH -GET NEW SKILLS
The main purpose of volunteering is for you to learn new skills and get experience that will help you in your future life. It is important for volunteers to take the initiative and be pro-active.

After 1 to 3 month(s) you will be invited to an on-arrival training promoted by the Portuguese National Agency. Here you will meet other volunteers stationed in Portugal. This will be a good opportunity to learn more about Portugal, different projects and Erasmus+ YiA and European Solidarity Corps
