Project Aim:
develop youth competences in the field of knowledge (Europe, European values, youth and seniors policy in different countries, democratic participation) and promote next values and attitudes: sense of community, responsibility, engagement, active participation, diversity and democracy.

Volunteer's tasks:
- Support the activities that the organization carries out in the Neighborhood House for the local community
- cooperation with the supervisor in designing marketing materials to promote the activities of the Neighborhood House, Gdańsk Youth Fund, Eurodesk (posters, leaflets, promotional items, videos, etc.)
- update social media by writing articles about experience in volunteering in Poland and other topics show initiative to run own activities for the benefit of the local community
- do presentations and promoting of home country
- participate and do classes at school (about Europe, democratic participation etc.)
- take an active part in preparation for annual events such as the e International Day of Seniors, etc.

Financial details:
Accommodation: Association is organize the living space for the volunteers: single-double rooms, shared toilet and kitchen, fully- equipped facilities


Travel cost from the country of volunteer to Poland and back, will be covered due to distance calculator, after receiving tickets and Invoices for travel expenses, 275 euros for people coming from Greece.


Pocket money: 4 Eur/day


Food allowance: 450,00 PLN/month
