”When in Marseille” in France
Another CURAE program just ended. The specific one was training and it took place on May 14-20 in Marseille, France. The week went smoothly and there was a peaceful atmosphere between us.
On the 1st day we got to know each other and saw the strategic-practical part with the basics you should think about before opening a business. On the 2nd & 3rd day we worked on marketing, communitation, skills, feedback and made our first visit. Through small activities in groups we saw them one by one. The first visit, which took place on the 3rd day, took place in an imperfect building and we had the opportunity to see works made of plastic materials. The 4th day started very creatively because we moved to another imperfection and created our own soaps. This awesome day ended by presenting our own brands to groups that we worked together from the beginning. On the last day, we did the final debriefing and evaluation and this beautiful experience closed with a nice dinner where we cooked and ate together.
Last but not least, I want to thanks my organization, Praxis Grecce, for this opportunity.

My first Εrasmus+ experience was in France, Marseille to be more precise. In the Curae project we learnt a lot about the new strategies of marketing and how an artist can present their work and their art business effectively. We began with the basics of marketing and management and how we will set targets to our businesses. Then we set and worked on our target group and made an advertisement depending on our group and what product we have. On the 4rth day we went to a soap atelièr so we could learn the difficult art of making a good soap, gentle to the skin and with natural ingredients. Soaps are the most famous product of Marseille so it was an amazing experience to learn about it. In the end, we presented and created our own brand from zero. Mine was called “Capywoody”. It was an amazing experience and I was glad that I was a part of it.
