Below , the expressions of PRAXIS participants’ experiences:
I would consider my participation to the Erasmus+ “Unpack your Habits” project the highlight of my year. It gave me the chance to meet many interesting people, to make some new friendships, to see a place in the world that I may never had the chance and generally experiencing youth power at i’ts finest.
As to what I gain, this project helped me to better realize my role as a responsible and active citizen. I better understood how my actions may influence not only me and my community but the way that the whole socio-economic and political system is moving.
Also, I had the opportunity to be a part of some really interesting discussions about sustainability, ethics and many more. Through the discussions that took place I manage to broaden my way of thinking in ways that include different point of views and aspects of everyday life and ways of living. I put myself in a situation to think of ways that could decrease my environmental input considering not only myself but also my community.
Also, I finally had the opportunity to set free my creativity by finding better ways to express my ideas to others through art.
This was my first experience and definitely not the last. I would highly encourage more young people to take place in this project so that we have more and more diversity in discussions about matters related to our lives.

During my recent venture to Lithuania through the Erasmus Plus initiative, I got involved in an interesting project exploring the topic of sustainability. In the serene landscape of a Lithuanian forest, the program provided a pathway to a deeper understanding of interconnected global issues.
The program explored the complex topic of sustainability, ranging from ecological awareness to the socio-political dynamics shaping our economies. It was an educational journey that not only offered theoretical understanding, but also insights into our world.
The trip made a big impact on me, helping me understand how nature and society connect. Looking back, I strongly support getting young people involved in such eye-opening projects. I gained not only knowledge but also a deeper understanding of the significance of sustainable practices and the important role of economic factors in global change.
By taking part in these programs, individuals develop a sense of common citizenship and
responsibility, empowering them to navigate the complexities of our era with informed insight and proactive engagement. My time in Lithuania generated a deeper comprehension of sustainability and it’s extensive effects, leaving a strong feeling of wanting to participate in similar projects in the future.

Taking part in this project was not simply a course but rather an experience that changed how I now see Erasmus+ projects as well as the sustainability issues. Through this process, I can reflectively discuss the incredible learning moments. The main aim was to learn about sustainable food consumption, reduction of waste and carbon footprint.
We dived into different aspects of the topic. Economists’, politicians’ and businesses’ perspectives were the most important ones. Controversial issues from each perspective arose, providing us with important information on why theory is always easier than practice.
Like all projects, this one had its own share of difficulties. Each barrier had presented an
educative lesson to overcome and improve the way of thinking on controversial topics , always taking into consideration each individual’s religion, economic, state, academic background etc.
These challenges were overcome with the help of adaptability, good communication, and a
collaborative spirit. It may sound cliche but the “Unpack your Habits” project was more than an ordinary project. It’s transformative experience changed the way I look at sustainability and community engagements. It showed that cooperative initiatives could be used to make a difference. Looking back on this trail with faith in my heart, believing that people-oriented projects of a green nature can develop a better and durable tomorrow for us all.
Moreover, aside from the main topic we had a lot of cultural nights where getting to know other cultures and their traditions was quite amazing. Another activity was to have a one day trip in order to explore the beautiful city of Druskinikai. Moreover, we had the opportunity to enjoy the traditional Lithuanian sauna experience and after that, as it is quite common house party for all!
Last but not least, I want to thank PRAXIS for giving to not only me but to many youngsters the opportunity to participate in projects like this. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Participating in an Erasmus+ project is something unique.
First of all, I met many new people with different mindsets and due to the range of days of the project.I was given the opportunity to deepen my conversations and relationships with them as well.Second, I got to see a lot of different places and countries that I don’t think I personally would have seen otherwise. The facilities were amazing and very neat. The food also was very tasty and it has a traditional homemade flavor.
Ιn addition, the topic of the project was very interesting for me and the way we carried it out with informal learning was very interesting and this kept you actively involved throughout the project.
Lastly, the whole project and the trip as a whole was free of charge and this really gives the
opportunity to anyone regardless of financial status to enjoy it.
Thank you, Erasmus+ and Praxis!
