“Eco-Narrative” Youth Exchange 3-11/9/2026

From September 2nd to 11th, I had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Eco-Narrative” in Mussomeli, Italy. It was a very special experience, full of new people, laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments. During these days, I met participants from different countries and cultures and had the chance to spend time with them, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. At first, there was a little hesitation, but very quickly we became more comfortable and started to feel like a real group.

Through the activities, games, and discussions of the programme, we learned how to cooperate, communicate better, and express our ideas. We also explored topics related to social media, our everyday habits, and our connection with nature. At the same time, we had the opportunity to discover more about Italian culture and to share elements of our own cultures with the rest of the group.

What I will remember most are the people and the moments we shared. From the activities and discussions to the time we spent together after the programme, every day had something different and special. Overall, participating in Eco-Narrative helped me step outside my comfort zone, meet wonderful people, and create memories that I will remember for a long time. I am very happy that I had the chance to take part in this Youth Exchange and I would definitely like to participate in a similar project again in the future.

My experience in Sicily through the Eco-Narrative Youth Exchange was something truly special and unforgettable. I had the chance to meet new people, make new friendships, and share many beautiful moments with participants from different countries. During the programme, I took part in many interesting activities, worked together with the other participants, and learned new things through teamwork, discussions, and creative exercises. The project also gave us the opportunity to reflect on social media, our everyday habits, and the importance of reconnecting with nature and our surroundings.

At the same time, I discovered more about Sicilian culture, traditions, and local life, which made the whole experience even more interesting. Being in a different environment and spending time with people from other countries helped me leave my usual routine behind and become more open to new experiences. Overall, the project gave me new knowledge, new friendships, and memories that I will keep for a long time. We laughed, worked, learned, and shared many unique moments together, which made this Youth Exchange a very meaningful experience for me.

Participating in the Eco-Narrative Youth Exchange in Sicily was a wonderful experience that I will remember for a long time. During my stay, I also had the chance to visit Palermo and Catania, but Mussomeli was the place that stood out the most because it was where the main part of the project took place. There, I met many new people and shared different experiences with participants from other countries. Through the activities, discussions, and time we spent together, we got to know each other better and created strong connections in only a few days.

The programme also helped us think about topics such as social media, our daily habits, and our relationship with nature. I especially enjoyed the activities that encouraged us to work together, be creative, and experience our surroundings in a different way.   culture, atmosphere, and people, but what made the experience truly special was being part of an international group and learning from one another. It was a Youth Exchange full of new experiences, meaningful conversations, and friendships that I will remember for a long time.
